God has no hands but our hands
God has no hands but our hands

We are all instruments of God. Have you considered what that truly means? It doesn’t mean we are God’s creation; it means we are His tools. He uses us to carry out his plans on earth. Because God has no hands but ours.

What did you do with God’s hands today?

WWJD?
WWJD?

What Would Jesus Do? Would He pray for guidance? Would He minister to the poor? Would He give to the needy? Would He lie to his mother?

Whether you believe in Jesus Christ or not, it is a useful exercise for you to consider how He would react in any situation. Then you can try to make the decision or take the action which Jesus would have done. As moral compasses go, He is the most accurate.

Where I live, these sorts of reminders are pervasive, whether it’s on a church sign or on the car behind you in traffic. Maybe that’s where we need moral guidance most of all. :-)

Marquee bonus: I love the big question mark behind this tag, but it reminds me of the Riddler from Batman.

The movie may be more powerful, but the emblems, crucifixes and paintings are more ubiquitous.

I’ll admit it: this one has me stumped. Did they just run out of letters? Was it a joke? Is it a sermon title? Maybe the sign-setter was just lazy today.

What do you think happened?

The year has changed. God has not.
The year has changed. God has not.

Happy New Year everyone! Even though we have moved into the future, we should remember that God is eternal and unchanging. If God didn’t condone it 100 years ago, then He doesn’t today either.

This sign is aimed at people who think that religion should get “modern”. It’s also a reminder that God is our Rock, ever-present and reliable. Take peace in that, brothers and sisters.
