I love a capella music. I heard a college group a few years ago singing some doo-wop, and I bought their CD (”Get Ready”, 2001). The group is “Cornerstone“. They’re from a southern Christian college in Montgomery, AL (thanks for the link, Heather!). (more…)

I guess He’s not on the verge of bankruptcy, though. This sign is a little old. I took this photo more than a year ago. Delta was just starting to have troubles then.

God is always ready for you. As soon as you are ready for Him, He will accept you.

Godvertising 0n a t-shirt. I see these a lot, but I’m starting to see things like this where they give the shirts away for free. They’re not making money on it, I guess, but spending money to get the message out. There sure are a lot of blank “billboards” walking around in the form of teenage torsos. This looks like a fine way to reach more people around the country.

My son pointed this out to me last week when we were behind a minivan with the “Support Our Troops” ribbons on sideways. He said, “Fish!” And I looked, and behold, there were fish on the back of the van. They look just like the Jesus Fish when turned sideways. (more…)
