Worship reminds us of values the world makes us forget

If you want your child on a winning team bring them to church
One for the soccer moms! Who doesn’t want their child on a winning team? But if your child isn’t in church, don’t you know what an opportunity you’re missing? Bring him in to meet the Real Referee.

Children are like mirrors. They reflect what they see.
Monkey-see, Monkey-do!
Ghandi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” This means that change begins with an individual, and it should begin with you.
Likewise, children will do as you do, not as you say. So be the change you wish to see in your children. Be the person you want them to be. They will only disappoint you so much as you fail in this.

Compassion is love in action
I love this sign. It reminds me to show my love by showing compassion to those whom I love. And it reminds me that God loves me and has boundless compassion for me.

Hell and destruction are never full, so the eye of man are never satisfied. PRVB 27′20
I love that this “doom and gloom” sign is on the Happy Valley Church sign, with the happy little sunrise there. “Oh, how joyous is the self-righteous,” it seems to say.
