Sorry the image is so blurry. Sometimes it’s all I can do to point the camera in the right general direction while negotiating a left turn and trying not to appear like I’m stalking someone and taking pics of their license plates.

Jesus on a tailgate — Look familiar?
Jesus made an appearance this week on a tailgate of a pickup truck in Texas. People are calling it a miracle. A shrine has sprouted around the truck. The owner says he won’t drive it again, not with the tailgate attached. Expect to see this on eBay soon.
If I sound a bit skeptical, it’s because I have already seen this image of Jesus. I saw it earlier this year on the tailgate of a Toyota Camry in Atlanta. Here it is. Look at it yourself and see if you can see any resemblance to the Lord God Almighty as He personally appeared on the pickup truck:
Now, maybe this is a miraculous appearance of Jesus on this tailgate in Texas. But if so, it’s another miracle that the artist who designed the bumper sticker created such a perfect rendering of the Lord’s image.
Perhaps he was inspired.

A popular message among Christians is that Jesus is alive. (It’s a big selling point: “our God is more alive that your God!”) This is one of the more colorful plates carrying that message. It’s eye-catching and happy, isn’t it?
