Simple, but profound. Want to get into heaven? You have to follow God’s laws. Harder than it sounds, I guess. Or is it easier?
Our Father said to come Home
Clever, this sign. “Our Father said to come Home” is a nostalgic phrase from most of our childhoods. But here “Our Father” is God. “Our” reminds us that He is your god, too. “Home” is a draw to Heaven. And the Church presents itself as the path, the earthly instantiation of God’s House.
I love when a sign has this much subtlety in so few words!
The Lord’s steadfast love endures forever
