What the church needs is less block and more tackle
Surely there’s an analogy here I don’t understand. A block and tackle is an arrangement of pulleys that multiplies force and divides distance (or vice versa). I’m not sure how this applies to the church. Maybe they’re thinking of a football analogy instead: do not block the church, but tackle its opponents.
What do you think they meant?
